Mass Effect
Beat it a few hours ago and here are my thoughts:
pros:
-dialog system is awesome
-good foundation for the rest of the trilogy once they work on some of the…
cons:
-Halo meets Star Wars storyline= meh. It’s a lost opportunity in a universe that has so much potential.
-the Mako
-is it too hard to make the back button a pop-up map? [edit: Right Thumbstick.]
-the combat system is flawed… I can’t pick it out… but it may have something to do with the freezing time thing.
-on multiple occasions my team or I would get stuck in the geometry, making me go back to my save which was a problem because
-the auto save system sucks. I had about 60 saves before the final credits rolled. Which would have been completely unnecessary had they put checkpoints in like Halo.
